Post by FBJason;
I think you are jumping to too many conclusions about me without having any
facts.
I was interested in how you could differentiate between AA and BA (I'll call
black aficans BA from now on if that's okay), but I'm not sure I agree with
you.
I guess it's the same way you want to differentiate the north African from
the so-called 'black only(!)' 'sub-Saharan' Africa. If you see a difference
once the terrain changes from forest to desert, then you are truly only
going by the books. Therefore, if you see a change in the people from the
forests being black, to the desert being black, but not being called black,
then AA's should look very different to you from black Africans. As if
black Africans are in the minority on their own land.
Post by FBI think the differences you come up with are between wealthy/poor and
educated/sub-educated.
Nope.
Post by FBI think most outsiders are not remotely interested in racial sub-sets, i.e
to all non-whites, all whites look the same,
False again. I am a non-white and I am telling you that we know an Italian
and we do not consider most of them to be white. We know that whites are
not the same but they (Americans) want us to beleive that they are. A
redheaded Irish person and a dark-skinned, culry jet-black haired Portugeuse
are clearly not the same people. They may come from the same land mass, but
they are not the same. In fact, Europeans look the least alike out of all
groups (save arabs and hispanics). Yellow hair, red hair, brown hair, blue
eyes, green eyes, grey eyes, big nose, thin nose, 'dark' skin, white skin,
salami-like skin ('cute' word, freckles), full lips, thins lips, no lips,
curly hair, wavy hair, kinky hair, straight hair. I can go on. They all
look alike to you?
Now you take take AA's. White skin, tan skin, brown skin, yellow skin,
caramel skin, dark skin, curly hair kinky hair, straight hair, blond hair,
red hair, yellow hair, full lips, thins lips, 'chinky' eyes, almond eyes,
thin nose, broad nose, blue eyes, green eyes, hazel eyes, brown eyes. Do
you see an overlap?
BLACK Africans. The kind whites love to call black only. Following their
logic. Dark skin, black skin, broad nose, kinky hair, brown eyse, black
eyes, full lips. They match AA's point for points huh? I think you see the
overlap. Whites and those of European origins who are not white, just want
to see themselves as white. You only see what you want to see about
yourselves. You only see us as black because you used to it. You know that
you see the difference between AA's and BA's, but you say you do not because
the similarities between the AA's and 'whites' are too powerful to ignore.
and to all non chinese all
Post by FBchinese look the same and so on.
Fact: Mexicans often think of me as Puerto-Rican. So they do not see
people as one kind. Race (classifications, American.) is only political,
not reality. I know that Puerto-Ricans are black. They (PR's) don't think
so. Whites call them hispanics, but Mexicans must see them as black also if
they keep thinking that I am a PR.
Post by FBI think you try too hard to make much of what are largely insignificant
differences obvious only you.
I think you try to hard to hide the dark side in you. You also try make
false connections in the real world with your white supremaist imaginative
one.
Post by FBI think any non-black will see you as a black person, full stop.
See above. I love to test people's perceptions. I will usually tell people
I am from a middle-eastern country. I notice how people do not look
surprised. Sometimes i'll say I am Puerto-Rican. PR's will look stunned.
I will see more African-looking PR's being accpeted as PR. Shocking.
People confused language, culture and media brainwashing with a race of
people. If we told the truth (people know it, but don't like to say it
until the black man forces it out), we would not have a problem/
Post by FBAnd finally; not trying to be a smart ass, just wanted you to explain your
thinking without me pre-suppossing. Sound's fair to me.
